With re-cycling very much on most people's minds these days, it is very satisfying to give modern facelifts to old and tired furniture....dumping into the skip is not an option and almost everything can be given a new lease of life. If you have granny's old nursing chair, an Ercol Windsor chair, a sturdy old wingback armchair or a set of period dining chairs, we can work miracles and create a furnishing that is bespoke to your taste and style.  

We will give you all the suitable options for you to consider how best

 to transform your comfy, sentimental or pretty piece of furniture.

With our vast experience, we can offer both modern and traditional upholstery techniques.  The main differences between the two are labour, time and cost of materials.

To get an idea of how we can help with your enquiry, we'll ask you to email us with four photos of the piece of furniture you'd like some advice on (front, back, side and underneath).  This will help us to make an initial assessment, advising you of what can be done, how long it will take and the likely costs involved.

If possible, we'll send you some photos of previous customer commissions to enthuse you!

After this first email exchange, we can have a chat about your desired outcome and arrange an Assessment Visit at your home

Alternatively, if your item is small enough and you have the inclination to transport it, we can offer you a 30 minute assessment, without cost. 

The next step will be to arrange an Assessment Visit (AV) which is  important to determine what type of transformation you would like for your piece of furniture.  It will also give me the opportunity to advise you on any particular points that need attention or consideration,

We will fully discuss fabric options, fire retardancy, finishing trim, style, comfort and the likely costs involved. An estimation will also be made on the amount of top fabric you will need to buy....we can provide samples of quality fabrics to suit the colour 

and style you have in mind for your furniture.

To confirm the AV you will be sent an Invoice for at least £60.00 - the visit fee may be higher depending upon your location.  A partial refund will be made within the commission Invoice total. 

We all have a favourite armchair and fabric sat on regularly will need replacing at some point.  Whether you choose a plain, tartan, striped or 'out there' fabric, our skill and expertise will ensure you to fully enjoy your special seat once again.
